Promo codes

Three places to enter a code, and what happens when you already have one.

At checkout#

When a plan change goes through checkout, the confirmation step has a Have a promo code? link. It opens a field, codes are entered in capitals, with an Apply button. An accepted code becomes a green chip showing the code and how long it lasts; a rejected one explains why underneath.

On a subscription you already have#

Administration › Billing shows a Have a promo code? pill (or Have a better code? if one is already applied). Codes redeemed here apply to your next charge, your renewal, or the charge at the end of your trial. Nothing is charged today.

Codes entered here apply to your next charge, not to one already taken.
  • Only one code can be active at a time. Adding a second asks whether to replace the first.
  • Some codes have to be entered at checkout. If yours is one of them, you'll be pointed either at adding a payment method or at picking a plan and entering it there.

Removing a code#

An active code shows as a chip on your current-plan card. Choose its × and confirm to remove it, future bills return to full price. The chip's Keep button backs out.
