What can be shared by link

Two links exist, both in-app, and neither of them lets anyone in without an account.

OurOpero has two shared links, and it's worth being clear about what they are before you paste one into an email.

LinkWhere it comes fromWho can open it
A link to an updateThe Share entry in an update's ⋯ menu; copies to your clipboard as "Link copied".Signed-in people who already have access to that board.
A link to a documentShare in the document toolbar, 'Share "<title>"', with a copy button.Signed-in people in that workspace.

Both are ordinary in-app addresses. Opening one takes you to the right place inside OurOpero, the item panel scrolled to that update, or the document, but it doesn't grant anything. Whoever you send it to still signs in, and still needs access.

Files and folders have no shared link either. To let someone see a file, give them access to the board it lives on, or download it and send it yourself.
