Marking notifications read

Clear one notification, clear them all, and keep the unread count in sync across open tabs.

There are three ways to mark a notification as read:

The row changes immediately, before the change finishes saving.
  • Choose the notification row, opening it marks it as read.
  • Hover over an unread row and choose Mark as read without opening it.
  • Choose Mark all as read in the panel header, the double-tick icon. It's greyed out when there are no unread notifications.

The row updates immediately after you choose an option, before the change finishes saving. If saving fails, the notification returns to its previous unread state.

Once everything is read, the Unread tab shows:

"No unread notifications: you've read everything. New ones will land here."
