Creating and duplicating views

Add a new view from the + at the end of the tab strip, or duplicate an existing view to reuse its layout and settings.

Adding a View#

  • Select the + at the end of the view tabs. Its tooltip reads "Add view".
  • Choose "Table" or "Dashboard".
  • The new view is created and opened automatically.

New views are named after their type. A table view is named "Table", while a dashboard is named "Dashboard". Rename the view to something meaningful after creating it.

Renaming#

Open a tab's View options menu using the 3-dot menu on the tab, right-click the tab, or the row's menu in the "All" list. Then select "Rename view".

The tab changes to an input field. Press Enter to save the new name or Escape to cancel the change.

Duplicating#

Select "Duplicate view" from the same menu to create a copy named "<name> (copy)". The new copy opens immediately and retains the original view's layout.

Duplicating is useful when you want to create another view with only a few changes, such as applying a different filter.
