Filtering the log

Narrowing by time, group, column or person, and exporting what's left.

A busy board produces a lot of log. The toolbar above the list is how you cut it down.

The Filter log popover#

Choose Filter log: the button carries a count when filters are active, for three columns of options, each showing how many entries match:

Reset puts the filters back to This week.
FacetOptions
TimeToday · Yesterday · This week · This month · This year · All time
GroupAny group on the board, tick as many as you like.
ColumnAny column on the board, tick as many as you like.

Reset puts the filters back to This week, and Done closes the popover. The header above the list reads "Showing N activities".

The other controls#

  • A person picker, to see one person's changes only.
  • "Search this board", which filters as you type.
  • An Automation activity chip, off by default, turn it on to include automation entries.
  • Refresh, to pull the newest entries.
  • Export to Excel, which opens the export in a new tab carrying whatever filters you have set.

The list pages thirty at a time with a Load more button and a running "N of M" count, ending at "End of log". Filter too far and you'll get "No activity matches your filters, try clearing filters or adjusting the time range".
