Sharing a Document#

No access levels. Everyone in the workspace can already open it.

Choose Share in the document bar to open a dialog headed "Share "{document title}"", with the line "Copy the link below to share this document."

  • Choose Share.
  • Select the Share link field. This selects the entire address. You can also use the copy icon beside it.
  • Choose Copy Link. The button changes to "Copied!" for a couple of seconds, and you'll see "Link copied to clipboard!".
  • Choose Close.

What Sharing Does and Doesn't Do#

Copying the link is the entire sharing feature. It does not change who can open the document.

  • Documents are always workspace-wide. Anyone in the workspace can open and edit them.
  • There are no access levels or edit, comment, or view-only toggles.
  • You can't invite one person to a single document.
  • There are no public links. Someone outside the workspace can't open the copied link.
