Importing and exporting
Bringing an existing file into a document, and getting a document back out.

Exporting#
The Export menu on the toolbar offers four formats. Each file downloads immediately.
| Format | Good For |
|---|---|
| HTML | Pasting into an email or another web page. |
| Sending it to someone who shouldn't edit it. | |
| Image (PNG) | Dropping a short document into a slide or a chat. |
| Markdown | Moving the text into another tool or into version control. |
Importing#
The Import menu supports two formats: Import from HTML and Import from Markdown (.md and .mdx). The file's content is converted into blocks and inserted into the current document.
