Boards, updates, files, automations, the log and the bell keep themselves current. Documents and File boards don't.
Most of OurOpero keeps itself up to date while you're looking at it, so two people on the same board see the same thing without either of them refreshing.
What other viewers see change#
- Cell values in any column, including mirror and connected-board columns that update as a knock-on effect.
- An item's "Last updated" information.
- Items created, renamed and deleted, and subitems created and deleted.
- Items reordered, and items moved between groups.
- Bulk changes, applied as a whole.
- Columns and groups created, renamed, changed and removed.
- The names on linked-item chips when the connected board changes.
- The update-count badge on an item's row.
- An open item's Updates tab and Files tab.
- Automation runs: a running banner, then a completed or failed card that clears itself after a few seconds.
- The activity log, where new entries appear at the top.
- The notification bell.
What doesn't update live#
- Documents: changes made by someone else appear when you reopen or reload the document.
- File boards: use the refresh control to pull in new files.
If the page stops updating on its own#
Two things stop live updates quietly, with no message on screen. In both cases, the board still works, it just needs a manual refresh to show other people's changes.
