The board-wide updates feed

Every update on the board is in one list, inside the activity log's third tab.

Reading item by item is slow when you've been away. The activity log has a third tab, Updates, listing every update posted anywhere on the board, newest first.

Each card carries a breadcrumb back to the item the update belongs to.
  1. Open the board's ⋯ More options menu in the header.
  2. Choose Activity log.
  3. Switch to the Updates tab.

What each card shows#

  • Who posted it, with their avatar, and how long ago.
  • A breadcrumb trail back to the item the update belongs to.
  • The update itself, rendered exactly as it appears on the item.
  • An action bar with Like, Reply and an "N replies" toggle.

Choosing "N replies" expands them in place, they're fetched only when you ask for them. Replying from here posts to the same conversation as replying on the item, confirmed with "Reply posted".

Replies are fetched only when you ask for them.

Finding one update#

Search runs over the update text, so a phrase you remember is enough to find it.

The "Search updates…" box filters the feed as you type, and the list pages in twenty at a time as you scroll. With nothing posted yet you'll see "No updates yet".
