The view tabs

The strip above the board contains your saved views, with additional views available from the "All" dropdown.

A task board opens on Main Table, which shows the board itself with all its columns and rows. Any other way of viewing the same board is a view. Views appear as tabs in a strip above the table. The strip is hidden when a board has no saved views.

There Are Two Kinds of View#

  • Table: Displays the board's rows and columns, with its own filters, sorting, column order, and hidden columns.
  • Dashboard: Displays widgets instead of rows, including charts, single numbers, and status batteries.

Reading the Strip#

  • The active tab has a blue underline.
  • Pinned views appear before unpinned views. Within each group, views remain in the order you arranged them.
  • Up to seven tabs are visible. Additional views move into the "All" dropdown at the end of the strip.
  • The view you are currently using always remains visible in the strip. If it would otherwise be hidden, it moves into the last visible position.

The All Dropdown#

"All" opens the complete list of views and includes a "Search views" box. Each row displays additional indicators: a gold star for the default view, a pin icon for pinned views, and a grey dot for views that do not fit in the main strip.

Each view has its own View options menu and a grip for reordering.

Reordering Tabs#

Drag a tab sideways in the strip to change its position. You can also drag a view by its grip in the "All" list.

Pinned and unpinned views remain in separate groups. A pinned view can only be moved among other pinned views. The Main Table cannot be moved.
