Email, Phone and Link

Three column types that store contact or web addresses and make them clickable.

3 min readUpdated

These three types look like text columns but behave like links once they contain a value.

Email#

Enter an email address, and the cell displays it as a mail link. Selecting it opens a new message in your default mail application. You can also add display text so the cell shows "Accounts team" instead of the full email address.

Phone#

Phone stores a number together with its country and displays it as a dialling link. On a phone or a desktop with a calling application, selecting the cell starts the call.

Link has two fields: the URL itself, with the placeholder "www.example.com

", and the display text, with the placeholder "Example text". Enter both to display the friendly text. If you enter only the URL, the cell displays the address.
