Undoing a change
Putting a logged change back, when it's available, and why it sometimes refuses.
3 min readUpdated
Log entries can carry an Undo button that puts the change back the way it was. Choose it and, once it's applied, the board reloads and you'll see "Reverted."
If someone changed the same thing again after the entry you're undoing, the toast says so: "Reverted. Note: this overwrote a newer change." Entries that have already been put back carry a grey "reverted" pill, whose tooltip names who did it and when.
When it won't undo#
Some entries can't be reversed, and the log says which of these applies:
- Already reverted
- No previous value to restore
- Target was deleted
- This action can't be undone
- This entry isn't revertible
