What subitems cannot do
Four things that work on items but deliberately don't work on subitems.

Subitems behave like items in most ways. They can be selected, deleted, exported, commented on, and given files. These are the areas where their functionality ends.

| Reordering | Subitems can't be dragged into a different order. Their order follows the order they were created in. |
| Nesting | A subitem can't have subitems of its own, there's one level, and subitem rows have no expand chevron. |
| Moving to a group | Move to in the floating bar only appears when at least one top-level item is selected. A subitem belongs to its parent, not to a group. |
| Mirror and Connect boards columns | These two column types are left out of the subitem column picker. Add them to the main table instead. |
