Uploading files

Three ways to get files onto a File board, and the limits every upload has to meet.

A File board is a place to keep files where the rest of the team can find them. Create one from the Add (+) menu with New File Board. This may require a paid plan, in which case choosing it opens the plan picker instead.

Drag from your desktop or choose Upload. Several files at once is fine.

Adding Files#

Each file is checked for size and type before its upload starts.

Drag files onto the drop zone. It is always visible and reads "Drag & drop files here" and "Or click to upload directly to this folder".

Select the drop zone to open your file picker.

Choose Upload in the toolbar to open the Upload Files dialog. You can gather several files, review them under "Selected Files (n)", remove any you didn't mean to include, and then upload.

Files are added to whichever folder is open, so open the correct folder before adding anything. Upload progress appears in a collapsible toast that you can dismiss.

What's Allowed#

Files are limited to 100 MB each, and the following types are accepted:

  • Documents: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX
  • Text: TXT, CSV, Markdown
  • Images: PNG, JPEG, WEBP, GIF, SVG
  • Media: MP4 video, MPEG audio, WAV audio
  • Archives: ZIP
